Fun doesn’t begin to describe Nina + David, but it’s a solid start. This brilliant and beautiful pair of doctors, who met during their first year of medical school, celebrated their love surrounded by family and friends at the stunning Intercontinental Hotel on a picture-perfect fall day in Chicago.

“We both had a ton of fun getting ready with our bridesmaids, groomsmen, and parents on the morning of the wedding,” gushes bride Nina, “The boys all sported superhero socks they got from David and were probably ready within 5 minutes, while the girls all loved taking our time and drinking champagne in that sunny, lovely room. It was so special to put my dress and veil on for the final “official” time with my Mom and all of my bridesmaids. We also loved the first look—we couldn’t wait another minute to see each other—and LOVED riding around town in the trolley and taking pictures at Olive Park with our über-fun wedding party.”

From the start of the day to the sparkler send-off, our dear friend, Hope Weis, and her team, did a fabulous job bringing the fun, style, and grace these two exude into their wedding day. Every detail was perfect and meaningful. From the ceremony at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, where Nina’s mother and uncles went to grade school, to the entrée at their reception spoke to the memories Nina + David share. “We started dating in the Fall and on New Year’s Day, David invited me over to have Steak au Poivre with him for the first time, a family tradition started by his late father. I remember he almost lit the ceiling on fire with the cognac (however in his version of the story the flames were under control the whole time). We love that memory so much that we chose Steak au Poivre for our wedding meal—it was delicious and our guests loved it as well!”

Amanda Sudimack and team, Tim and Emily, joined this fabulous couple and their extra-fun bridal party. When asked for final words, Bride Nina says, “I could probably go on forever. We just had the most perfect day—it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky and our hearts couldn’t have been happier spending the day with our friends and family.”

Thanks for having us, Nina + David. We are thrilled to be a part of it all!
