For adventurous, nature-loving couple, Lauren + Chris, The Morton Arboretum was the perfect backdrop for an intimate, handmade wedding. Following a non-denominational ceremony, written by bride Lauren who also crafted everything from the bouquets to the centerpieces, guests gathered outside of the Thornhill Education Center for cocktails and sunshine. The couple then treated their family and friends to an afternoon of great food, lots of laughter, and some seriously fun dancing thanks to Frank Lamphere and his swing band. Lauren + Chris even participated in a dance to the song "Let Me Call You Sweetheart", a tradition on the bride's side of the family to transition the couple into married life, which ended with Chris (literally) sweeping Lauren off her feet.
Artisan Master Senior Associate Tina + Associate AJ joined this sweet pair as they became husband and wife. Thanks for having us, you two!
